Guest Speaker:
Kathleen Aspenns, Certified Flower Essence Practitioner
Kathleen earned professional certification with the Alaskan Flower Essence Project in 2008. She worked as a veterinary technician in practices specializing in small animals and exotics for eight years. When the use of flower essences for her African Grey parrot had great results, she decided to pursue further studies in the field. In addition to her flower essence work, she also teaches the Tellington method of bodywork and training for horses. Kathleen has also created flower essences for giraffes, vervets and warthogs, among other animals, at the Oakland Zoo.
Topic:
Kathleen will introduce Bach flower essences for common stresses and fears, particularly the Rescue Remedy formula. She will explain how to select and use flower essences for animals, and discuss how essences can help with training challenges, socialization, and separation anxiety.
